I recently spent a splendid weekend at the Splendid Venice - Starhotels Collezione, and it truly was an unforgettable experience! Our adjoining rooms not only boasted stunning canal views but also came equipped with all the comforts we needed, like plush beds and luxurious bath amenities. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, right down to the turn-down service with delightful heart-shaped chocolates, which made our stay feel extra special. The friendly staff went above and beyond-one gem being Roberta from housekeeping, who promptly arranged to steam my dress. Breakfast in bed was another highlight, indulging us while we enjoyed the serenity of our surroundings. The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the action yet quiet enough to feel like a retreat-perfect for families or anyone wanting to explore classic Venice, but also escape the crowds. Whether sipping a coffee in the lounge bar, gazing at the gondolas gliding by, or simply soaking in the ambiance from the Altana rooftop terrace, it's a place that captures the romance of Venice. After this lovely stay, I'm already dreaming of my next visit!
